Qualify for CT Safe Boating License
This one day (8hrs) class teaches boating safety. Topics include types of boats; life jackets; fire extinguishers; distress signals; operator responsibilities; boating laws and regulations; fueling; boating courtesy; basic rules of navigation; buoys; sound signals; navigation lights, shapes, and sounds; boat registration; and environmental rules. Successful completion qualifies students for CT's Safe Boating Certificate. Note: Students for the CT Safe Boating Certificate must pass a written test given during class time.
